Towson University has created a fascinating new role at their school – director of entrepreneurship. Spearheading the plan is Frank Bonsal III, who has been leading their business incubator. Now, his new job will include leading the university’s TowsonGlobal business incubator and trying to grow entrepreneurship efforts at the university.
In a statement, the university explained that the job shows “the advent of a larger and more integrated approach to entrepreneurship.” As the new director of entrepreneurship, Bonsal will be working with faculty members to develop fresh curriculum that integrates the concept of entrepreneurship into the education students receive. He will also support student efforts to launch businesses.
Frank Bonsal is a venture partner with New Markets Venture Partners in Fulton.
