Good news for the Horseshoe Casino Baltimore. They just received approval for their gaming operations license.  The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Commission awarded the license which is pending their successful operations during two demonstration days.

The casino needed to show on August 18 and 21 that it complied with state rules and regulations. They then opened to the public on August 26.

The casino is expected to offer a nice influx of money for the city, as 49% of new employees are Baltimore City residents.

Interestingly, Horseshoe has outdoor slot machines – and is the only one in Maryland that does. There are 101 of them across eight balconies and outdoor patios.
